Antonio foods was established as a small, personal enterprise by Antonios Konstantinidis in 1959 at "Ladádika", the downtown commercial (oil-trading) center of Thessaloniki, (the second largest city of Greece and capital of Macedonia).
It began as a processor and wholesaler of agricultural products. In the course of time it specialized in a variety of healthy, natural foods.

The company has now been handed over to the "second generation", the sons and successors of the founder, Antonios Konstantinidis. Since 1979 Antonio foods is housed in its own factory in Kalochori, the industrial area of Thessaloniki. The strategic location of Thessaloniki enables Antonio foods to closely and effectively observe all developments pertaining to food products over the entire Balkan area (i.e. Greece, Turkey, former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Albania, Romania) with respect to quality, available quantities and prices.

Antonio foods is a pure Business to Business (B2B) company. The greatest part of its annual turnover is committed to exports to Western Europe, where the company has been active since 1975. Its customer base consists of food importers, brokers, distributors and wholesalers, who distribute the food products in their local markets either in the Antonio packaging or repackaged under various brand names.
